I think the problem is that my daughter used this computer at college, and
she got Norton from them. Now that the computer is not longer connected to
the college, there's still a piece left on add/delete Norton WMI Update,
which I can not delete, because I don't have the master; the master belongs
to the college. I belong to AOL, and get free virus protection from them, so
it seems kind of silly to pay extra for Norton -- whom I don't like anyway
because they are so pushy about shoving their products down my throat. I've
tried searching the net, but come up with hundreds of hits for Norton WMI
Update -- usually about some new virus upgrade. My regular address is
(e-mail address removed). Would appreciate any help at all.
