How interface Delteks Adavantage and MS Project

I am starting the tracking process with a number of projects I have programmed for an engineering company. Currently all projects have been programmed in MS Project. Times are booked usind Deltek's Advantage. Now in order to track the projects accuratley the man hours booked in adavantage has to be extracted and and then the neccessary tracking done in MS project by plugging in this info. My question is. Is there a way to read the data straight into MS project from advantage or even is there a way to do it via some other programs like excel, sql or any other common programme.

Hello,
MS Project can read Excel files (of course!) but also Text file and CSV
files.
Try File / Open / Type of file in Ms Project.
The question is : what kind of file Deltek's Advantage is abble to export ?

Be careful. We have done some experimentation with loading actual hours
from another timekeeping program and have some problems. Even when entered
manually, actual hours may get changed from the values entered if Project
"thinks" you couldn't have meant what you entered. We have instance where
the time gets moved into the future (this is actuals remember) and others
where the value is changed and we can't figure out what happened to the
difference. We are pretty gun-shy about automating this process
(unfortunately -- pet peeve!).
