How is message sent when sending to list?

Hi there and thank you so long for your help.

We want to generate a mailing list with details of all our sustomers. This
is not a spam list but our customers.

I was wondering how the mail will be sent when sending to a list of ±100
customers.
How will the message disply in their Inbox; meaning, will an individual
mail be sent to each customer or will it be sent as Bcc, Cc or To:

We don't want to send it is "undisclosed recipients" and also not where
every recipient's address is in the To or Cc field.

Thanx so long for your help.

Hi Deon H,

if you use a "normal" email which you want to send to a smaller group of
people, you can send the email in the "To" field to youself and in the
"BCC" field, insert all other contacts.

Use BCC:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/HA012002371033.aspx

The customers will only see his email address. You could also use
"Distribution list".
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/HP052578011033.aspx

I prefer to use the "Mail Merge" of Outlook.
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/HP052431381033.aspx?pid=CH063565551033

Every user get an own email and you will see for every sent email an own
entry in the "sent items folder".

Maybe it helps.

Hi Oliver.

Thank you very much for an EXCELLENT explanation. From what you have
written, I also prefer the last option with the merge.

Thanx again!
Deon
