How is Worksheet_SelectionChange Work Different From Worksheet_Change?

Greetings,

How is Worksheet_SelectionChange different from Worksheet_Change?

I know Worksheet_Change triggers when you exit a cell that you entered
(not just tab thru it, unless you actually enter the cell).

What triggers Selection Change?

Anyone have any answers?

No, Worksheet_Change does not trigger simply because you exit a cell... it
triggers when you make a change to the content of the cell. On the other
hand, Worksheet_SelectionChange triggers when you change the selection on
the worksheet.

Actually, entering edit mode in a cell, even without making any changes, is
enough to get a "Do you want to save" prompt when closing the workbook. So I
tried it, and sure enough, entering edit mode in a cell followed by leaving
the cell, even without making any changes, is sufficient to fire the
Worksheet_Change event. Leaving the cell via the Esc button doesn't count,
because it cancels any changes.
