However, a rough rule of thumb is that a well-normalized data structure will only rarely require a table with more than 20 or 30 fields (and even this many is unusual). Have you defined the entities and relationships? When you say "Personal Information" and "well over 100 fields", I don't have a clue ... can you provide some specific examples?
