How many new unopened e-mails?

Any way to see the number of unopened e-mails in the Notifications area,
al;ong with the yellow envelope?

I use Mailwasher, you can see the E-mails before you even download
them, if you don't want em' you can delete them and bounce them if
you need to do, also it'll learn which ones to accept or block.
