How many projects can be stored on the server???

WSH

Does anybody know how many projects can be stored on the Project Server 2003?
At the moment I do have many but just a bit worried it might slow everything
down, when connecting to the server and opening projects up in MS Project
2003.

Sorry if this question has been asked before.

Thanks ppl

To answer your original question, storing projects is a function of SQL
Server and you can store as many projects as you have free hard disk
space available.

But opening and working in these projects is different.
You may hate this answer but... "It depends"

It depends on the type of hardware, LAN/WAN connectivity, network
bandwidth, off-loading of Project Server components, etc. So there
cannot be a cookie cutter approach

What I would suggest is downloading and reading the Microsoft Office
Project Server 2003 Configuration Planning Guide at:
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=20235

There's a lot of good information that will help you in your planning
decisions. Plus they offer a number of scenarios that might fit your
particular needs in Chapter 6 - Selecting a Project Server Configuration

Good Luck
