I'm using Outlook 2003 with BCM. Using existing data, It looks like the
only way to populate 'BCM Contacts' is to drag from Outlook regular
contacts, or import from something like ACT.
If John Doe is already a 'BCM Contact' but I realize I already have John Doe
(with a lot more fields populated...address, phone, etc.) as an 'Outlook
Contact'... is there ANY way that Outlook can merge the two, especially when
there is a conflict... that is... is there a way to have Outlook in effect
reconcile... "Two emails found, do you want to keep (e-mail address removed) or
(e-mail address removed) or keep both"?
Sure, you can drag the Outlook contact over to BCM contacts, but it just
simply adds a new entry...and I have two John Does.
Thanks for any suggestions,
George
