How much does microsoft office cost?

I have just started going to college. I thought since I have microsoft works
that would be enough to do what would be required of me. I have just found
out from my instructor that they require that I have Mircosoft Word and Power
Point. The instructor tells me to go and buy Microsoft Office. We just went
through hurrincane Charley. We were lucky that we didn't have any structural
damage. But we still had expenses. Microsoft Office is not cheap. What is the
least expensive way to obtain what I need and still get a good product? Is it
cheaper to buy them seperate?

Buy a copy from eBay..but make sure its not a copy and
that its legitimate. i.e the disc doesn't have ms office
written on it in pen!

Check your WalMart or Sam's or Costco or other discount places that carry
some software - most have the Students and Tearchers versioni of Office for
about $130 - probably best price outside of the university bookstore.
