Hi,
I'm quite new to MS Project, and I use MS Project 2007.
Say I have a set of several summary tasks, each with a few subtasks
for example - each feature implementation has its usual
design-coding-test subtasks.
My problem is that after assigning resources to the tasks, th
application sometimes "splits" between the subtasks of the same summar
task. I'll elaborate:
Say I have feature1 with its 3 subtasks and feature2 with its
subtasks, and other features. I assign feature1's subtasks wit
resource1 and feature2's subtasks with resource2. Now I assign resource
and 2 to the other features. The MS-Project might (after levelin
resources) squeeze feature4 between 2 subtasks of feature1. I don't wan
this to happen as I'd like to treat this summary task as a singl
development unit.
I can I resolve this
