How Often Should You Rebuild An OLAP Cube?

We're using Project Server 2003, and after adding projects like crazy,
we're having to rebuild the OLAP cube more and more. After reading
some posts here, I've been wondering not if we're rebuilding it too
often, but not rebuilding it often enough. Being new to Project
Server, I figured this would be a good place to pose this question:
how often should an OLAP cube be rebuilt?

I will not answer the question as i simply don't know. I will say,
however, that we build the cube nightly via PWA, and our customers
like it that way, so they can always see new changes in the reports
within 24 hours.

I would rebuild it only as often as your organization's reporting cycle.
This means if your team members submit updates once a week and your project
managers process them once a week, you need only to build the cube once a
week. Hope this helps.
