How privent a cropping when printing?

Hello!
Some text and image on my slide is cropped when printed, up to 3 cm from A4
page edge.
How prevent the cropping?
My Printer can print with margins just 5 mm.

The article shows that the margins are caused by a printer, but my printer
can print with margins just 5 mm, and the PowerPoint prints with 3cm
margins.

background that's causing this.

Try this:

Start a new BLANK presentation
Draw a rectangle that fills the entire slide
Give it a fill color of some kind; light gray perhaps
Choose File, Print
Put a check next to Fit to Page
Select Color instead of Grayscale/BW
Print

Still 3cm margins?

3cm is 6 times larger than 5mm, not 5cm.

which did not help.

Does the PPT file's Page Setup size match the printer's paper size, or is

without distortion. There'd be larger borders on the sides than top and
bottom

I don't understand the problem, I'm afraid. If the printer imposes
5mm
margins, I don't know how PPT can print with smaller

would send the slide to somebody outside, because it could contain
confidential information by their understanding. They say that they see what
is sent even through a personal web e-mail account at work.

That's unfortunate, but it can't be helped.

Hmmm. What else to try ...

Select the image on the slide and see if PowerPoint will let you ungroup it.
If you can ungroup it, try printing again.

Select the image on the slide and see if PowerPoint will let you
