How recover some deleted menus?

I use the Word 2002 of Windows XP.
Without knowing how, suddenly I began using a menu mode and stop using the
write mode. Trying to come out the menu mode I did some silly actions and one
by one the menus began to be deleted. When I realized what was happening I
stop the action. Now I have FORMAT, TOOLS, TABLE, WINDOW and HELP menu but
the first ones dissapeared. How can I recover it?

On the Tools menu, click Customize. Click the Toolbars tab. Select the
Menu Bar item and then click Reset. Confirm the choice.

Note that with the Customize dialog box open, you can also delete
menus. Perhaps this is what happened when you lost them?
