How set a new page size, Word XP?

D

Darby Fletcher

Please, this seems like a simple question, but I can't
seem to get an answer. In MS Word XP, how can I
designate/set a new paper size? And have it remember the
new paper/page size? Where I live the legal size is a
non-standard paper size, and I can't seem to figure out
how to set a new paper size and have Word remember it.
Any suggestions?

Sincerely,
Darby Fletcher

Hi, Darby,

Open the File > Page Setup dialog. Click on the Page Size tab. Create the
custom page size. Click the Default... button at the bottom of the dialog,
and answer Yes when asked whether to change the default based on the Normal
template. When you exit Word, if you're asked whether to save changes to
Normal.dot, say yes.

And if you don't want the new size to be the default, see reply in
word.printingfonts. Next time, cross-post instead of multi-posting, and you
can see all the replies in a single NG.
