How sync .PST file as .OST sync method?

At the moment, the PST's of users are on the server and available for the
user through a personal network drive (h because the server has daily
backups.

But regarding the Laptop users, if we configure the outlook to open the PST
on (h and this users be offline, the network drive (h will not show the
PST file, because the windows sync system not synchronize PST files.

Does the Outlook have a resource that make the synchronization of a PST file
using the same concept of storage cached exchange mode (.OST file
synchronization)?

Microsoft does not support the use of PST's on networked drives. Since
Outlook requires read/write access to the PST, any interruption of network
bandwidth or mapped drive availability could corrupt the PST.

Because i cannot storage this file on the laptop or the user manage this
file manually.

Even OST's should be kept locally. The only thing I can think of is to
include a sink event in a login script that would copy the PST up to the
network drive for storage yet leave a copy locally on the laptop/PC.
Hopefully someone else could come along and post other advice that might be
simpler or they've found a way to work with PST's in a network environment.

Don't use PSTs. Keep all the data on the server and use offline folders if
you're using Outlook 2002 or earlier or use Cached Exchange mode for OL 2003
or later. Outlook will work identically whether it's online or off, in the
office or out.
