How tell if Access 97 or 2000 ?

I have Access 97 and 2000 on my PC. We also have databases
of both types and some databases have a version for each.

How can I tell whether a database is an Access 97 database
or an Access 2000 database (without opening it)?

The icons are different.

Maybe, but the icon does not indicate the Access version.
When I open ANY database with Access 97, all my Access
icons change to the 97 icon (yes, even Access 2000
databases!). When I open ANY database with Access 2000,
all my Access icons change to the 2000 icon (yes, even
Access 97 databases!).
So your answer is of no help whatsoever!
