How to Accept Changes in Headers & Footers ?

I'm running Word 2003 on XP Pro.

When I "Accept All Changes" it does seem to work in the Header of the
document. I still see red and green marked text.

I've tried clicking... View | Header and Footer ... and then "Accept
All Changes" but no luck.

Thanks for any help on this.
