How to access Document Workspace Sites

I am an administrator for Project Server 2003. A project manager created a
document workspace and saved it at project workspace site. The PM included me
as a member to the document workspace. I can see the document in the document
workspace if I click on the link in an e-mail that I received , but I cannot
see it when I go to the project workspace site in WSS. Should I be able to
view the document directly from the project workspace site? Thanks in advance

The Documenet Workspace is a child site of that site.

Server 2003 Unleashed textbook.
