how to acheive scaling

hi,
i am having a problem in trying to scale my graph according to the dat
on the chart.
if i have following data on X-axis
Jan, 05
Feb, 05
mar, 05
Apr, 05
till Dec, 05

On Y-axis i have the products sold for each of the month...

when i plot my chart i want the chart to display few of the data an
should scale itself for other data.
Ex..the chart should display data only for
jan 05
mar 05
jun 05
sep 05
dec 05
what is the property to enable this.

Currently the chart display data for all the 12 months.

if i put this set of data on excel, according to the size of the char
i resize, only that much data is shown. so if i increase the size o
the chart then more data is shown. otherwise the data is scaled.
