How to add a customized itme into Filter?

Hi, All,

I am with PS2007 with PWA. I have a problem to find an Enterprise Custom
Fied in the filter. In my system, an Enterprise Custom Field "Team Name" has
been defined and it works fine, we can see it in resource sheet and
organizations. However, when I want to create a filter with "Team Name"
condition, I can not find this option from the "field name" column of filter
definition.
How can this item be presented?

Or is it possible that a resource create own custom filter and save it on
their PWA?

You don't state where you are trying to use this, but I'll assume that it's
in a view. To filter on a field in a view, it must first be included in the
view. Does that help?

Thanks for your quick reply, Gary. Sorry for previous unclear statement. I
was trying to create a filter in PS2007 professional. When I open "Project"
from menu then select "Fitler for" then "More Filters" and create new filter,
I can not find "Team Name"(a created Enterprise Custom Field option from
"field name" column in "Create New filter" window.
Also, I tried to insert "Team Name" colume into "Project Details" view in
PWA_Project Center. Unfortunately, I can not see this option from view
management too.

Team Name is a resource attribute and therefore would only be available in
Resource views. In order to use it in a Project Filter, you would need to
switch to the Resource Sheet view and you will find it in the filter field
list.

as a filter condition to a group of tasks in the project?

That is correct, as it applies to resources, not tasks.
