How to add a resource popup menu

Hi all....

By using Office::CommandBarControls I can add menu items to the main menu
bar, but, how can I add a whole menu that is defined in the resource file?

I'm not certain I understand the question. Are you trying to add a menu to
the existing "Menu bar" CommandBar? Or create your own CommandBar with popup
menu items?

I get the feeling you may be looking for the CommandBarPopup type of
control?
