how to add a template to Visio new drawing type menu

have designed my own template and was wondering how to add this to the drop
down list in new Drawing type, rather than having to go searching for it
every time that I use it.

Create a new directory for your templates and then create sub folders for
each template.Chose Options from the Tools menu and select the Advanced tab.
Press the File Paths... button in the lower left column. Add the new folder
to the templates file path. You can have multiple filepaths by seperating
them with semicolons.

The folder will now be in the choices in the menu and will also be in the
selection window. If the templates have a Print Preview, that will show in
the window as a sample.
