How to add an additional fonts directory?

Is it possible to add a second fonts directory for rarely used fonts, but
still access, view, and select them while in Office 2003 programs under XP?
If so, please tell me how to select the alternative directory while in Office.

If not, can anyone suggest a different way to accomplish viewing and
selecting fonts within Office without clogging up the Windows/fonts directory?

Hi, Betty.

As far as I can recall there is hardly any limit to the number of fonts you
can store in the default fonts folder, so additional folders are
unnecessary - unless you just want a reserve stock as too many fonts in the
default folder can slow things down. Office will only look to the default
folder so if a font is not stored there it cannot be used.

Hope this helps.
