How to add (and create) more page border art?

If you start from the Page Border tab in the Borders and Shading dialog box
(Format menu), then from there you can choose a border from Border Art
pull-down menu.

It is not clear:

(1) how I can add more border art to this listing (either downloaded or
created by myself)?

(2) what steps must I take to create my own border art?
