Flash is a technology of Macromedia that displays multi-media (ausio and
video) presentations in a web page, among other things. This is done via a
..swf file that is embedded in the page. The .swf file requires that the
Macromedia Flash Player plug-in is installed on the client machine. The
Flash Player is free. The software to create Flash Presentations is not. you
can certainluy use FrontPage to embed a .swf into a web page. For more
information, visit http://www.macromedia.com.

Well, to create Flash presentations (.swf files), you need Macromedia Flash
MX, which is why I recommended going to http://www.macromedia.com. Note
that I said "The software to create Flash Presentations is not [free]".

Adobe Flash, or whatever they are calling it now is kinda expensive. Check out Swish I think it's only 90 b ucks but there is a free 30 day trial. Once you have a program that can create flash files you'll see what can be done (a lot!).

Wordart will not help you here. You'll need to learn about images and image editing with a decent image editor.

Well, now there's a nice little piece of advice! I think I have heard of
that program, all good, to my knowledge. In fact, I just adked my graphics
guru, and he says "it's hightly recommended." He told me that the feature
set is less than Flash MX, but it does what it does well.

For what it's worth, I have in-depth reviews of both Macromedia Flash and
SWiSHmax on my Web site. I also have a link to the only US distributor of
SWiSHmax where you can get a special edition on CD.

It's very good, and a little easier than Flash...at least easier than the old Flash I have. I just don't use it very much. Try SwishMax trial it's good.
