how to add fonts in office XP

Can any one tell me how to add fonts to my MS Word 2002

When I installed my softweare I lost all the fonts in the pull down font list. All I have is about four fonts. How can I get the rest

Do you have any printer defined other than a generic printer? Try installing
a printer and your fonts should reappear.

Usual answer here is to install a printer other than "generic/text printer"
