how to add info over the split task bar that can be viewed

Hello Dear:
How can I add info. to the split task that can be viewed
in Gantt. for i.e. AM or PM. I can do it with a normal
task but not with split task.
Would anyone help me on this? appreciated

As you already have noticed, when you edit bar styles, and select split for
the task type, the text tab isn't available for editing. I'm guessing that
this is because "Not Split" isn't a choice for Task Type.

FYI: When you set up your bar style, on "normal" tasks, to display text
"above" the gantt bar, the text will also display that data on split task
bars. The text will display centered above the start and finish of the
entire task's length.
