How to add jumps to side-side arrows in Visio?

In order to get extra arrows on my connectors, I've switched to side-side
arrows and bottom-top arrows. (I did this because I needed the extra
arrowheads and did not want to create extra connectors that get 'lost' in all
the rearranging I have to do.) The dynamic connectors jump whenever they
cross another connector. The side-side and bottom-top do not and I can not
find a place to set that ability.

Only Dynamic connectors have the jumping ability. The fixed "special"
connectors are actually from a time before the dynamic connector existed.
While they offer finer-control than the Dynamic connector, they lack some of
its, well, dynamic, features.
