How to add new colors to existing table

The colour palette is what you see, however you can create autotext entries
of pre-coloured objects and create pre-coloured styles to apply to text.

Not sure what you mean by an "existing table of colors" but in many of the
dialogs in Word that can be used to select a color, there is a More Colors
button that will open a Colors dialog with Standard and Custom tabs. If you
go to the Custom tab, you have 256³ = 16,777,216 options to choose from by
setting the required RGB values.
