How to add project versions to Portfolio Analyzer

I created several new versions in Project Server (V1, V2, V3) in
PWA/Manage Enterprise Features/Versions. I then published a project
plan and saved a version V1 of it, then I built the OLAP cube. When I
add the Versions dimension in the Pivot Table in Portfolio Analyzer,
the only versions that show up is Published. How can I add the new
versions I created to the Portfolio Analyzer field list?

Open each version of the project and click Collaborate - Publish - Project
Plan. When the OLAP cube rebuilds, you will see the new Versions. Hope
this helps.

Thanks for the suggestion, I've tried that but I still can't see the
versions in Portfolio Analyzer. The V1 version project plan shows up in
Project Center but Portfolio Analyzer still only has the Published
version.

Yes, it has and by golly, the new versions are there! There was a bit
of backlog on the views server which delayed the cube build. Another
issue has cropped up, and I'm wondering if you might shed some light on
it.

We've updated some resource hours in the V1 version, saved it and
rebuilt the OLAP cube. The updated hours are not showing up in the OLAP
reports. As a test, I saved a copy of the V1 plan as another project
and published it (V1-copy.Published). After building the cube one more
time, the hours in the published copy of the V1 plan is showing the
correct hours.

Can you make changes to a non-published version of a project plan, save
it and have it appear in the OLAP cube? Or do you need to republish the
..Published version of a plan before updates to a non-published version
appear in the OLAP cube?

When you make changes to an alternate Version, you must publish the project
using Collaborate - Publish - Project Plan to make those changes show up in
the Portfolio Analyzer views. Let us know if this helps.
