How to add smart tags

i have a program called quickverse, i used smart tags with it on my 2003
word. i have a vista and is now using microsoft word 2007 and can't use smart
tags can you help me with this

Hi, Josie--

This may be rather late. Had a similar problem years ago, and found your
post while looking for any new or helpful info.

I still use QuickVerse 8 with XP, and discovered QV's "smart tags" stopped
working after I updated Internet Exp.6 to IE7. That is, if I clicked on a
Strong's number, it would no longer go to and open the definition for that
source word. Bummer. So I uninstalled IE7 and rolled back to IE6. Voila!
It works again.

Now that IE8 is current and supposedly better than IE7, I wonder if MS has
done anything to allow it to work with the QV smart tags. Not holding my
breath.

IE6 has serious security issues and IE7 is little better. MY advice is to
switch to Firefox rather than IE8.
