Hi Amod,

What do you mean by a "word menu"? What commands do you have
in mind, and how would you expect to be able to use them in
Excel?

Hi
Cindy

Thanks for reply. The following scenario is as an example
of what I want to do.
In word 2000 there is a menu "Autotext" under "Insert"
Menu.
I want this menu in excel under "Insert" Menu.
I am trying to merge this menu in excel. I know there are
properties like OLEMenuGroup and OLEUsage to merge the
menus but I don't know how to use them.

I hope you will help me for this. Waiting for your reply.

regards
Amod

Why? What would you expect it to do? Word AutoText is
something Excel doesn't have any idea about, and can't use.

You could use the CommandBars collection and related object
so create new menus in Excel, and link them to VBA-code in
the Excel environment...

this I want to use that normal.dot file for Excel. but I
recognised that this is not the correct way. I was just

OK :) Are the things you want to "keep a library of" Word
things, or Excel things?

No, it is not. Unless you're trying to put them into a Word
document object, embedded on the Excel sheet.
