How to align a Text Box EXACTLY with a line

I have a text which describes the story of a film.
I need to add in the margin the time of certain events.

In my opinion, the best way to do so should be to insert a Text Frame, with
the following advanced Picture Position properties:

Horizontal:Book layout:Inside of margin
Vertical:Alignment:Inside relative to line

That somehow works, but I find two flaws:
1) the text box is actually not in the margin, but in the text. I make it
work by putting an indent to the text style.
2) the text in the box in not exactly aligned with the line; it is in fact
slightly under it.
I can live with flaw#1, but flaw#2 is unacceptable to my formatting needs.

Needless to say, I have tried all advanced Picture Position properties to
see if any combination would work better. I did not find any.
Of course, I do not want to use Absolute Positions, because I would lose the
link to the specific line should I alter the text.

Can any one tell me what I am doing wrong? Is the whole Text Frame approach
flawer? If not, how should I parameter them to do the job?

Are you setting the vertical position as 0" relative to paragraph?
