I'm not sure why it's doing this but I'm also trying to get a handle on what you're
doing when it happens. Are you deliberately inserting an image that's larger than the
slide (e.g. so that the slide only shows part of the image), or is it just the nuisance
of getting hold of the image corners to resize it once it's inserted?
It is installed. I can temporarily shrink the object, but I would really
like to find the fix for this issue. I work with PPT a lot at my university
to create content for workshops, and mine is actually the only machine in the
building that has this issue. I dont suppose theres a way to reset the
program to original settings or something like that is there? It seems odd
that after installing SP2, its still doing this when no other machine is.
thanks!
:
Downloaded SP2 for office and restarted twice.
Just to be sure, after downloading, you installed it, right?
What if, instead of moving the large image off to the side, you temporarily shrink
it?
Same problem. Im about to
"old priest, young priest, and holy water." Any other advice?
thanks
:
I have SP3. I assume that the fixes for SP2 would also be there - is that
incorrect?
It's incorrect. Echo's referring to SP2 for Office 2007, not Windows or any
earlier version of Office. There is no SP3 for Office 2007.
Thanks for your reply echo!

This was fixed with SP2 for Office 2007. Make sure you have it installed.

Is there a way to change the settings in ppt 2007 so the blank slide
doesnt
move if you try to move a larger-than-slide image off to the side? Its
driving me crazy trying to resize imagaes by hand and having to zoom out
to
40% just to see where my slide went!
Thanks!
