How to assign task to resource in project server 2007

Michael

I make project schedule with Project Prof. 2007, after mapping local resouce
to server resource, saving to server and publish, and then login in to the
server, I found that all task which I assigned to other resouce on the
schedule were all in my task list. what's wrong? what can I do if I want to
auto assign task to others.
BTW: the accounts & resource on Project Server are synchronizated from
Active Directory's same groups.

Michael:

You need to do two things:

1) Set the default assignment owner for each resource to the resource itself
2) In any previously published project, you need to change this on your
project assignments, as changing the default does not change projects
created before the default change.

Hi, Gary
How can I do these two things? on Project Server with PWA? or on
Project Prof.? under which menu I can find these settings?
On your things No.2) , Do you mean that I should change the default
setting before publish then the task will auto assign to the resouce owner?
and the published project will not change even after changing the default
setting?

Thanks
Michael
