How to audit the copying of database to any removable storage devi

Is there any method to record the username and the time whenever the databse
is copied to any removable storage devices? i am using Windows XP.

Nothing like that is provided by Access.

It may be possible to write a service somehow, but that wouldn't be an easy
proposition (and would require that you use something other than Access)

To add to Doug's response that would be an operating system level
issue and not an Access issue. Given that you would do your copying
using Windows Explorer or at the command prompt.
