how to aunthenticate the outgoing server?

I try to send an receive Mail and the message i get is:

my list of allowed rcpthosts (#5.7.1)

I need to know how to authenticate the outgoing server

Select the Outgoing Server tab of your account properties and check the box
that says "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication"
