how to auto-match names when sending email

I have to manually enter entire email addreses or scroll
and choose in the To: feild menu. How to I get the
outgoing address bar to match/find/insert a contacts email
when I type the first few letters? Thank you.

That feature is enabled by default. Have you sent enough messages to
have populated your autocompletion cache? You won't see it working until you
do.
