How to automatically delete mails which are older than N days

Hello All,

We have an extra email account attached to our outlook account. We have an
application which sends an email when some user logs a request into the
application. This email is sent to that email account. This is backup copy of
the email that is sent to user with details. We are supposed to hold those
emails for a minimum 20 days and then delete them. We receive about 2000
mails/day.

Now what we are doing is deleting the mails manually. It is time consuming
and also irritating as we have dedicate one person to do it.

Is there any way that i can setup the rule so that that i can delete these
mails which are older than 20 days automatically.

Thank you and regards

Not a rule, but AutoArchive can do the job easily enough. Right-click the
folders, choose Properties, select the AutoArchive tab, and configure
AutoArchive to delete older messages.
