How to avoid the number at left for name of project?

I am a novice. When I type name of project in Gantt chart it becomes a task
with a number at the left most column.
How to get rid to make it the project name?

Hello,

I believe you want to show the name of the project as the first line
in the table on the left. Turning on the Project Summary task will
display line zero and show a bar that summarizes the entire project.
Click Tools > Options, View tab. In the lower right corner, click
"Show Project Summary Task"
