Hi Elmer,
You will still need to run the cube on Ana;ysis Server 2000 which you can
connect to the SQL 2005 Server. This is due to a big change within the
Analysis Cubes within SQL 2005.

how i will run the cube on Analysis Server 2000, do i need to install SQL
2000? I have only SQL 2005 installed. What would be the other solution if i
cannot run the Analysis Server 2000?

Hi Elmer,
Not sure if the is the only way, but I would use the SQL Server CD and
within this CD You can only choose to install the ananlysis Server, during
the install it will ask you to which SQL Server you would like to connect and
you should now use the SQL 2005 Name. This should do the job.
In regards to other solutions, there are non. In order for you to run the
Portfolio Analyser you will need to have Analysis Server 2000 installed,
otherwise you will not be able to use this feature. Sorry
