How to bypass or uncrypte the password protecting a macro written in VBA for Excel?

Hi everybody,

I have a VBA macro running under excel which code visualisation is protected
by a password. Is there a way to bypass or uncrypte this password so that I
can see the VBA code.

You need to buy a password cracker. Now the version of the Office product
could well be a significant factor on how long it takes.

Ok but how can you locate the encrypted password in the Excel file ?

It depends on which version of Excel you have. With the earlier versions
I understand (and I have been wrong before!) that the password could be
derived from the first part of the binary file. With later versions it's
not so simple.

As I say, you have to get your mitts on a specialised tool for this.
