How to bypass "Windows has encountered a problem" and fix it?

When opening an Excel workbook with macros, the "windows has encountered a
problem" message appears. I think the problem is I have two control buttons
linked tp the same cell, but I can't get past the error message, so that I
can fix it. Is there a way to bypass the message?
