This may not be exactly the solution that you are looking for, but you could
place a single email or a group of emails into their own folder and then use
the File > Import and Export > Export to a File > Comma Separated Values
(Windows) > select the folder with your email(s) to export > select a
filename and destination (e.g. C:\ . . \Desktop\myfile.csv) > Next > Finish.
The file created will open by default into Excel, but if you left click and
choose Open With, you can then elect to open with NotePad or WordPad or any
other text editor.
