I have an InfoPath 2003 form that I'm designing. Occasionally my users need
to modify the forms they've already submitted.
Since each saved form in the InfoPath form library has an ID, I'd like to be
able to capture and display that ID (read-only) so my users know the ID
number of the form. If it's a new form, it should display "n/a".
Can anyone tell me how to do that? It should be simple, but for some reason
I can't make it work. So far I've added the InfoPath form library as a
secondary data source and selected ID to be loaded. Then, in the form I made
it use ID (from the secondary source) as a "read-only" field.
I made it a text field. Should I have chosen some other field type?
