As a hacker (the older sense of the term!) at the level
of Access 2003 for Dummies, I've been using Access 2003
to generate reports, search records, etc., for another
application that outputs its database as XML.
I read the XML file into Access (using the option
"Append Data to existing table(s)" on the Options menu
during import), then use my queries, reports, etc.
The data in Access is not persistent - I erase the tables
and re-import each data set when I need a report.
I'd like a way to capture the file name of the
last-imported file so I can print it on the reports.
I could not find any function that does this.
Any ideas?
Thx.
