How to capture powerpoint events in applescript

RAHUL

Hi,

I want to create an applescript which open's a saved PPT in
powerpoint, let the user edit it and as soon as the user closes the
PowerPoint OR saves it, the script should get notified.

Does PowerPoint send an Apple Event (applicaiton close event) which
the apple script can capture. Is there any way to capture events sent
by other applications in applescript.

Thanks in advance

PS: Sorry for multiposting. I had posted the question on
mac.office.powerpoint but have not received any reply yet, So am
posting it here again.

Again: Please do not post the same question in multiple groups. If there is
justification for the posting to be seen in more than one group please use a
Newsreader rather than a web interface & learn to *Cross-post* in those
situations where it may be appropriate to do so.

Your cooperation would be appreciated.

Sorry again :-( have just learnt how to do cross posting, will use it
from now onwards.

To rephrase the question, Is there a way to capture the events from
office applications on MAC (just like we can do it on windows as
explained by the microsoft knowledge base article "How to catch Word
application events by using Visual C++")

Regards
Rahul
