How to capture the footer as the out document file name

I would like to save my merged document name using the document footer. Any idea? On the other hand, how can I convert a merged document into pdf file without pausing for clicking the "Yes" button to save? Is this possible to do it? Any suggestions are very appreciated. Thanks!
