How to change a custom field

Hi,

We want to change Cost Center1 which is a custom field into RES_COST_CENTER
at database level. How and where the changes go?

Edit it through the UI, if you are using EPM2003, then this is configured via
the Enterprise Global.
If it's EPM2007, then this is done via the Enterprise Custom Fields in
Server Settings.
