How to change a graphical indicator

I opened the enterprise global and made the change to custom fields,
saved everything, even republished all information, but PWA still shows
the previous graphical indicator. I know I'm missing something, but...
what?

If you open a project and press the F9 key to manually recalculate the
project, and then save and publish it again, does this change the indicator
for that project? Let us know.

No, 'fraid not.

I guess it would have to be something more general. The field is used
in the Project Center view of PWA, also, so that we have an at-a-glance
indicator of over-all project health. So it has an effect above the
project level. In theory, the change in the enterprise global field
should change on that PWA screen as well. I'm wondering if the IIS
application needs to be restarted.

I should mention that the symbols do change when viewed in Project
Professional.

Hi Dale,

Sorry for delay in continuing this topic. Took me a while to get a
server restart.

Even after restarting all the machines, the indicator has not changed
in PWA, just in Project Professional.

Not a big deal, but it sure is perplexing. I've done what I can to
clear browser cache. I really thought that restarting IIS should have
done it.

Burford,
Check whether the custom field has been added as published fields in
tool-customise-Published fields--

Thanks. I think that would work for adding the field to the tasks
view.

In my situation, the field is already a part of the assignments view.

Changing the graphics for the custom field is not propagating to PWA.

Probably I need to delete then re-create the field.
